Education & Community Development in Nepal
Unity Movement's education and community development programme works with underserved communities across Nepal to expand access to quality education, strengthen local capacity, and improve the material conditions of daily life.
The programme is delivered by our Nepal-registered non-profit in direct partnership with local communities, schools, and organisations. We work on long timelines, building the kind of relationships that make change sustainable rather than seasonal.
Glacier Disaster Relief
Nepal's glaciers are retreating at a pace that is already displacing communities and creating serious humanitarian crises. Glacial lake outburst floods, water scarcity, and lost livelihoods are direct consequences that demand a sustained, local response.
Unity Movement's glacier disaster relief programme provides emergency humanitarian support to affected communities, working with local partners on both immediate relief and longer-term adaptation. The programme is designed to respond quickly when disasters occur, and to work steadily in their aftermath.
